Exchange Health Monitoring Tools


Hi guyz in this post we'll introduce Manage Engine's Exchange Monitoring tool. Manual Health Checks may be cumbersome sometimes and as you might have noted from the steps in our last post Exchange Server Health Checklist and Performance Counters and Threshold for Exchange Server we mentioned about some personal touches.

We not at all mean these replace Health Checks but assist you Monitoring your servers more easily and accurately.

Introduction:

ManageEngine Exchange Health Monitor tool provides an exclusive Exchange 2010, Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2003 server monitoring, as a desktop tool dashboard. It shows the actual resource utilization of the Exchange servers along with exhaustive information about the Mail Queue details of the Exchange Server .

Installation Procedure

Double click the setup file and follow the screenshots.





Now double click the application icon on the Desktop



Here we have configured the tool to manage one of my Exchange servers and you can see from the screenshot the info it provides at a glance.

You can also define the counters for the Warnings and Critical notifications

Below we give you screenshot of another commonly used Exchange Monitoring tool by Solarwinds.

    The SHM process involves the observation of a system over time using periodically sampled dynamic response measurements from an array of sensors, the extraction of damage sensitive features from these measurements, and the statistical analysis of these features to determine the current state of system health.
