NAS Storage Pool for DPM 2012 R2 Backup
As per documentations from Microsoft DPM doesn't support NAS Storages to be added to backup pools. ). DPM uses VSS snapshots for maintaining recovery points, therefore a network share is not supported. DPM only supports block level storage (locally attached disk, Iscsi and fibre attached disk). This can be a let down in some scenarios.
